Prospect Brass Band: a truly unique fusion of Funk & Rock!
The Prospect Brass Band is a Funk/Rock brass band, inspired by both the traditional Second-Line tradition of New Orleans and the modern twists provided by Youngblood Brass Band and No BS Brass. Prospect Brass Band is co-run by husband and wife, Aron and Megan Callard. Audience members can look forward to hearing original tunes, fun covers, and the occasional traditional Second-Line tune. They just opened for both Michigan blues legend, Larry McCray and Question Mark & The Mysterians celebrating 60 years of “96 Tears”, receiving rave reviews and accolades! Fröhliche Polka Band: an interactive Bavarian experience for all ages!

Empty Canvas: the unique combination of music and live art!

Empty Canvas provides musical performances as an acoustic duo, trio, or full band. During the show, artist and lead singer Mike McMath will complete an entire painting based on an image you’ve chosen before the show. These are beautiful works of art - not a splash painting or spinning wheel image completed in a few minutes. Mike will bring members of the audience up on stage to add their own strokes to the painting. Crowds are always amazed when they realize Mike’s not only painting during the show, but singing too. Once the performance is over, the painting is yours to raffle, auction (silent or live), or keep. Any proceeds generated are YOURS to keep.
Alex McMath: a powerful singer and songwriter with Michigan roots
Alex grew up in a household full of music. Alex would join her dad and uncle on stage at events while still in elementary school, and her passion for music only continued to grow. After graduating with a degree in music therapy, she’s now branched out on her own performing at gigs all over the state of Michigan as well as Nashville!
